Privacy at Sundae
Updated 30 August 2026
What Sundae needs to run your account, travel tools and VPN—and what we deliberately do not do with your information.
Our promise
Sundae processes information only to provide the features you choose, keep the service secure, meet legal obligations and support you. We do not sell personal information or use VPN traffic for advertising, profiling or unrelated analytics.
Account and travel information
Account information can include your email address, name, sign-in provider and saved travel defaults. Entry checks use the passport country, residence, destination, dates and journey details you enter. Sundae does not ask for or store your passport number.
VPN information
Before VPN use, Sundae creates a pseudonymous VPN account and securely stores its credentials on your device. Your network address, selected connection country and technical connection data are necessarily processed to establish the encrypted tunnel.
Sundae disables Atom SDK analytics and does not inspect or store browsing history, DNS queries or internet traffic content. PureWL operates the VPN infrastructure solely as a service provider needed to deliver the connection.
Service providers
We use Supabase for accounts and application data, Vercel for hosting, Timatic for entry checks, PureWL/Atom for VPN infrastructure, Stripe for payments and SafetyWing when you choose its travel-cover service. Official country guidance comes from public government information.
Retention and deletion
Account and service data is kept while your account is active. Security, payment and accounting records may be retained where law requires it. You can initiate deletion in the Sundae app under Profile → Privacy and account. Provider cleanup may take up to 30 days.
Your choices
